Step Back

Since arriving back from a recent Pacific jaunt, I decided to have a delve into some of my pictures from the past. As I scraped through thousands of scraps I was pleasantly surprised to see some shots that I had since forgotten about.

I love how an image can remind you of a particular time in your life with such clarity. Each of these 3 shots is accompanied with a story in my mind, a story that makes me smile nostalgically.

As I thought about images from the past that I had particularly enjoyed, I suddenly thought of a song that I keep going back to. Like a hapless mosquito drawn towards a UV light, I have continually gone back to this song and its haunting lyrics. Johnny Cash, the man, the legend...

“Hopefully the first of many” was the thought that ran through my head as I created this post... Realistically, these posts will be few and far between and probably rather fickle and sporadic.

Hopefully I can include enough interesting content to warrant me calling it a blog.
